Training and internships

From November 4 to November 22, 2019 At the request of Zhezkazgan Medical Center LLP Kazakhmys Corporation, 2 specialists of the center for industrial medicine and occupational medicine were trained. The internship program also includes the participation of specialists in the annual conference on occupational medicine, held by the Korean Academy of Occupational Medicine and Ecology in Daegu.

From October 21 to November 01, 2019 Two specialists from the Zhambyl region passed an internship at the Severance hospital at the request of the Health Department:
Neurosurgeon
The topic of internship - endoscopic methods of surgical intervention in pathologies of the central nervous system.
The internship program is provided with a tight schedule, with daily visits to the operation.
Neurologist
The topic of the internship is the early rehabilitation of stroke patients.
The program includes therapy for the musculoskeletal system: manual therapy. Visiting and working at the Center for Robotic Rehabilitation Therapy (methods and practice), pain therapy (neck, shoulder, lower back, knee joints, etc.), method and process of motion analysis (leg pain, leg deformation) and more.

From 9 to 13 April, 2019 According to the statement of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Chechnya, 3 doctors from the Republic of Chechnya completed an internship on the topic: Thoracoabdominal oncological surgery, endoscopic surgery, liver transplantation.
Reconstructive plastic surgery of the mammary gland, oncoplastic surgery, microsurgery, diagnostic and surgical intraluminal endoscopy.

In August 2019 , the Public Fund “International Medical Fund“ Severance KZ ”and the Health Department of the Kyzylorda Oblast have linked long-standing partnerships in the field of healthcare and medicine. 12 specialists from the Regional Multidisciplinary Hospital, the Children's Regional Hospital and the Regional Oncology Center underwent an internship in Seoul on the following topics: endoscopy, endovideo surgery, oncourology, thoracic cancer surgery, surgical interventions in proctology, reconstructive plastic surgery on the mammary gland.

In July 2018 , at the request of the health department of the Zhambyl region, 2 specialists of children's orthopedia were trained, on the topic - bone transplantation on a vascular pedicle for pseudarthrosis.

In June 2018 , at the request of the Health Department of the Kyzylorda Region, 7 specialists were trained on topics such as extreme neonatology, high-dose chemotherapy for solid tumors, embolization of cerebral arteries, thoracoscopic interventions for atresia of the esophagus.

From March 24 to April 2, 2018 an internship was held for undergraduates of KazNU named after al Farabi in the framework of strategic cooperation.
• 22 undergraduates majoring in "Healthcare Management"
• 12 undergraduates with a degree in Public Health
• 4 undergraduates with a degree in medical and preventive care
A total of 38 undergraduates and 2 faculty members
