In April 2019 in Nur Sultan, during the state visit of the President of the Republic of Korea, Mr. Moon Jae In, to Kazakhstan, a tripartite Agreement on cooperation in the field of healthcare was signed with a recognized leader in the healthcare system of Southeast Asia - The Severance Hospital of the Health Systems at Yonsei University, the Honorary Doctor of which is the First President of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev and the Public Fund “International Medical Fund“ Severance-KZ ”, the Honorary President of which is the 8th General UN Secretary-General Mr. Ban Ki-moon and General Director of the Governing Council of Kazakhmys Corporation LLP B. Krykpyshev. The agreement provides for the introduction of advanced technologies in the field of medicine and the training and professional development of specialists of Zhezkazgan Medical Center LLP, based on specially developed programs of Severance Hospital.
The trilateral agreement was also signed with the Medical Center of the Office of the President of Kazakhstan.
On March 26, 2019 , agreements were signed with Kazakhmyc Holding LLP (B. Krekpyshev) and with the Medical Center of the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Tsoy A.V.) in Nur-Sultan. In September 2018 , a visit was made by Severance Hospital in Almaty. The delegation was led by the Director General of the hospital, Mr. Lee Byung Seok. During the visit, meetings were held with the rector of KazNU named after al-Farabi, G. Mutanov, akim of Almaty, Baybek B.K., at which discussions were held on transferring the Almaty Health Department to the Department of Clinical Hospital No. 1. The delegation included a world-famous pediatric hemato-oncologist, Professor Yu Chol Joo, who visited and gave a lecture in the Kazakh National university named after S.D. Asfendiyarova. The professor was awarded the diploma of the honorary professor of the university.
May 17 2018 Mr. Ban Ki-moon, Honorary President of PF “International Medical Fund Severance-KZ”, visited Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.Within the framework of the Astana Economic Forum, a meeting of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev was held with Mr. Ban Ki-moon Honorary President of PF “International Medical Fund“ Severance-KZ ”, Chair of the Global Institute for Green Growth Assembly(GGGI), The 8th UN Secretary-General, Mr. Lee Byung Seok, Chief Physician of the Severance Hospital of Jonse University, Mr. Song Moon-shou, Director of the Institute for Global Participation and Empowerment. The meeting discussed issues of cooperation and prospects for networking in various fields.

Then Mr. Ban Ki-moon met with members of the Board of Trustees and partners of the IMF Severance-KZ, heads of the Health Department and Akimats of the regions of Kazakhstan. The meeting was attended by Vice Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tsoy A.V. During the meeting, the results of the fund's work were highlighted and issues of its further development in Kazakhstan were discussed.
From March 14 to March 17, 2018 at the invitation of the Daru Clinic Rehabilitation Medical Center, Aktobe, Public Fund IMF Severance-KZ and partner of the fund, Professor Kim Joong Hwi, Dean of the Department of Physiotherapy, Catholic University city of Tegu, Republic of Korea participated in a conference dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the clinic. Professor Kim John Hwi made a presentation “Innovative technologies for functional recovery in neuromuscular plastic changes” and conducted a master class.
In February 2018 Public Fund "IMF Severance-KZ" took part in the forum "Brining the interests of people and the Planet in the Center."
“Bringing people and the planet to the center” as the main theme of the Forum will serve as a platform for all interested parties and participants to work together to implement the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development of the United Nations.

April 17, 2017 at the invitation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Chechnya, Mr. Suleymanov Elkhan Abdullayevich, a delegation of the Severance hospital led by Director General Lee Byung Seok visited the republic, a 3-sided Memorandum of Cooperation was signed.
From June 12 to June 14, 2016 a delegation of the Xenchen Severance Cardiology Center visited the East Kazakhstan region. The purpose of the visit is to establish cooperation in the field of cardiology, to provide assistance in the form of treating patients at the expense of the charity fund of the hospital. Patient's information were given for review and decision-making on treatment at the hospital. A meeting was held in the Regional Hospital, in the cardiology department with the participation of the Deputy Head of the Department of Health Zhangazy Zhumagalievich. December 2015. From December 17, 2015 to December 20, 2015, a visit of the delegation of the Severance hospital in Aktobe, a meeting with Akim of the Aktobe region Saparbayev Berdybek Mashbekovich. A memorandum of cooperation has been signed. During the visit, a lecture on pulmonology on the topic “General respiratory problems in adults” was held by the General Director of Kangnam Severance Hospital, Mr. Kim Hyun Joong (professor pulmanologist).
A lecture on cardiology "Updating the lipid management system for cardiovascular diseases" was delivered by professor, cardiologist Yoon Young Won.
June 2014. Director General of Ihwa Hospital for Women’s University, Pyak Nam Soon, professor of oncology and mammologist, performed 3 operations to remove breast cancer, lectured at the Regional Oncology Dispensary of the East Kazakhstan Region
